How did I get to this place?
A reflection of an unfamiliar face.
Seems so odd that is is me,
Lost in this sea of humanity.

I know You're there...somewhere.
I wish I could breathe You like air.
Life giving, lung chilling breath;
Infilling this servant with rest.

Oh I want to be there with You,
To walk with You.
But I know my life is in Your hands.
Like a child in their parents love expanse.

I know I can run into Your arms of love.
Escaping like a snow white dove,
To find rest in the Almighty.
You shelter me.

Oh God, I run to You to be filled again.
To be purged in Your cleansing rain.
To take my pain, my sin, my worries,
To Your mercy seat of glory.
